Frontier Airlines Picks up Eight Previous Spirit Airlines Routes

Frontier Airlines has today announced the launch of eight routes previously operated by Spirit Airlines, including service to major metropolitan airports such as including Boston, Detroit, Dallas, Las Vegas and more.

On Sunday (July 5, 2026), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of eight new routes previously operated by Spirit Airlines. The routes, spanning the U.S., including major metropolitan areas including Boston, Detroit, Dallas, Las Vegas and more, which begin operating today and tomorrow. Marking the new service, Frontier is offering introductory one-way fares from $39 (T&Cs apply).
In Sunday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ VP – Network and Operations Design, Josh Flyr, said,
“We are pleased to grow our service across the country to ensure low-cost flight options remain available to consumers as they plan their travel this summer and beyond. With premium upgrades paired with our signature affordability, we are thrilled to show travelers why we are America’s Low Fare Airline.”

The carrier is committed to ‘Low Fares Done Right’, and currently operates a fleet of 164 Airbus A320 Family and the largest A320neo fleet in the U.S. With approximately 200 new Airbus aircraft on order, Frontier will continue to grow and deliver on their mission of providing affordable air travel across America and beyond.
