Frontier Airlines Offers Elite Gold Status to Members of Select Airline Loyalty Programs for $69

Frontier Airlines is offering Elite Gold Status through 2026 to members of select airline loyalty programs from only $69.  This limited-time offer provides nearly 18 months of Frontier Gold Benefits like a free carry-on bag, priority boarding and more.

On Tuesday (August 19, 2025), Frontier airlines announced that for a limited time members of select airline loyalty programs can receive Frontier Gold Elite Status through 2026 for just $69 (T&Cs apply).  Customers with any level of loyalty program membership with Southwest Airlines, JetBlue, Spirit Airlines or Alaska Airlines can upgrade to Frontier Elite Gold status through December 2026, and will enjoy nearly 18 months of Frontier Elite Gold Benefits.  These perks include, a free carry-on bag, Zone 1 priority boarding, Priority customer care, free preferred seat selection, and complimentary upgrades to premium seating at check-in and UpFront Plus seating four hours before departure.


In Tuesday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Director of Brand and Customer Engagement, Jeff Werkheiser, said,


“This is one of the most valuable offers we’ve ever extended to frequent flyers.  We’re inviting members of many different airline loyalty programs to experience The New Frontier - where they can travel affordably without sacrificing comfort or premium perks.” 


Also commenting on the new status offer, Loyalty Status Co.’s CEO, Mark Ross-Smith added,


“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Frontier Airlines to bring such a compelling opportunity to members of other programs.  Gold status for just $69 is an unbeatable way for travelers to elevate their journeys.” 


In addition to the previous outlined benefits, Elite Gold members also earn miles faster (14X per $1 spent on eligible Frontier purchases), making it easier to reach Elite Platinum or Elite Diamond status.  Platinum and Diamond members now enjoy unlimited companion travel, and in late 2025 Frontier will debut First Class seating across their network, offering unmatched comfort and space at ultra-low fares.  From now through September 9, 2025, existing members of qualifying loyalty programs can take advantage of the offer by clicking here.
