Frontier Airlines has today launched a new, upgraded Frontier MILES frequent flier program, allowing members to ‘Get It All For Less!’. The new program enables customers to earn Travel Miles and Elite Status Points Fast.
On Thursday (January 11, 2024), Frontier Airlines announced the official launch of the new, upgraded Frontier MILES loyalty program, which allows travelers to ‘Get It All For Less!’. Originally announced last October, the new program enables customers to earn Travel Miles and Elite Status Points fast. For each dollar spent on Frontier, members will enjoy the highest earn rate on total eligible purchases in the industry, with up to 20 miles or points per dollar spent for completed flights.
In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Vice President of Marketing, Tyri Squyres, said,
“The wait is over! Now is the time for consumers to ‘Get it All for Less’ by earning free flights and obtaining valuable status quickly and for less. Plus, free flights and valuable new benefits are even easier to achieve with the FRONTIER Airlines World Mastercard®.”
The launch of the upgraded Frontier MILES loyalty program is complemented by several promotional offers rewarding miles and status. First, new members who sign up between now and January 16, 2024, will receive a 500 FREE mile bonus. Next, Frontier Airlines World Mastercard cardholders who spend $3,000 before June 30, 2024, will receive Frontier MILES Gold Status. Finally, customers who have ‘GOLD’ in their surname can enter for a change to win Gold Status by clicking here through January 16, 2024 (100 winners will be selected).
With the updated program, Travel Miles can be earned by making eligible purchases on the Frontier Airlines website, using the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard, making purchases with a Frontier travel partner, or by purchasing miles. Travel Miles are then redeemable for free flight fares on Frontier. Unlike Elite Status Points, Travel Miles do not qualify members for Elite Status. Additionally, Travel Miles do not expire as long as there is eligible activity on a members account each year.
Elite Status Points are accrued by making eligible purchases on Frontier's website or with the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard. These points are not eligible for Frontier flights, but are used to track a member’s progress towards Elite Status. Elite Status Points are awarded annually to give members status for the rest of the current year, as well as the next. Members earning 10,000 points in January 2024 will be an Elite Status Member from February 2024 through the end of 2025. At the beginning of each new calendar year, the status points balance resets to zero for accrual to the subsequent status period, as members are required to earn status annually.
Travel Miles and Elite Status Points now accrue per dollar spent on Frontier flights, bags, seat assignments and bundles, with a standard 10X multiplier ($1-10 miles), with the multiplier increasing at every status level up to 20X. The new program includes four status levels including Silver (new at 10K), Gold (20K), Platinum (50K) and Diamond (100K).
