Frontier Airlines Launches Six New Routes From Dallas, Four New Routes From Myrtle Beach

Frontier Airlines has launched new service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Atlanta, Cancun, Chicago, Nashville, Ontario/LA and Salt Lake City. The carrier also announced four new routes from Myrtle Beach to Buffalo, Miami, Portland (Maine) and Providence.

On Thursday (June 10, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of six new routes from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) including service to Atlanta, Cancun, Chicago, Ontario/LA (California), and Salt Lake City. With the new routes, the carrier now offers 13 nonstop destinations via DFW. In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Schurz, said,


“We’re thrilled to launch six new Dallas routes this week with nonstop flights to some of the most popular cities across the country, plus a top international destination: Cancun. Frontier’s growth at DFW has been remarkable and we now offer 13 nonstop destinations from Texas’ largest metro area. We look forward to welcoming travelers onboard this summer to explore new places and make everlasting memories.”


In a separate press release on Thursday (June 10th), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of four new routes from Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), with new nonstop service to Buffalo, Miami, Portland (Maine) and Providence.


Speaking on the addition of new routes from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Mr. Schurz said,


“We’re delighted to begin four new Myrtle Beach routes this week with nonstop Buffalo, Miami, Portland and Providence flights. With eight nonstop MYR routes to choose from and numerous connecting destinations, Frontier continues to make it easier and more affordable to travel this summer and create unforgettable memories with friends and family.”


Also commenting on Frontier’s Myrtle Beach expansion, Horry County, South Carolina’s Director of Airports, Scott Van Moppes, added,

“We could not be more excited to offer nonstop service to four new destinations on Frontier Airlines. Since beginning service in Myrtle Beach in 2018, the airline has continued to enhance its offerings, providing excellent travel options to the MYR passenger base. We would like to thank Frontier for their investment in our community, which greatly benefits both our local population and the many tourists that visit our destination each year.”


To celebrate the launch of the new Dallas/Fort Worth and Myrtle Beach routes, Frontier Airlines is offering introductory one-way fares from only $39 (roundtrip purchase not required). To qualify for the special low fares, tickets must be purchased by 11:59 pm on June 17, 2021, for travel on select days through July 31, 2021. A three-day advance purchase is required.
