On Tuesday (April 6, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced an expansion at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport with six new nonstop routes with service to Cleveland, Dallas, Hartford, Phoenix, Portland (Maine) and Providence. The additional flights expand the carrier’s offer from Atlanta to 22 nonstop routes. To celebrate the new routes, Frontier is offering fares from only $29. In Tuesday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,

“We’re excited to expand in Atlanta with six new nonstop routes. At Frontier, we’re focused on delivering ‘Low Fares Done Right,’ and constantly look for new travel opportunities for our customers. These new routes will now provide an affordable and convenient option for Atlantans to visit six popular cities. Additionally, we’re looking forward to further deepening our roots in the community with our first-ever ATL crew base opening later this year.

Also commenting on Frontier’s Atlanta expansion, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s Deputy General Manager, Michael Smith, added,

“With the efforts of airline partners like Frontier we’ll move beyond the pandemic. We look forward to the summer months which will provide all of us an opportunity to see friends and family in person. Frontier’s additional service from ATL is quite welcome and will help make those get-togethers possible.”

In a separate press release, Frontier Airlines also announced new nonstop service from Philadelphia to Portland, Maine and Providence, Rhode Island. Speaking on the additional new routes, Mr. Schurz said,

“We’re excited to grow again at Philadelphia International Airport with new nonstop flights to Portland and Providence. At Frontier, we’re focused on delivering ‘Low Fares Done Right,’ and constantly look for new travel opportunities for our customers. These new routes will now provide an affordable and convenient option for Philly area travelers to visit these two unique destinations this summer.”

Frontier Airlines is committed to “Low Fares Done Right.” The Denver-based carrier operates over 100 Airbus A320 Family aircraft and has the largest Airbus A320neo fleet in the U.S., delivering the highest level of fuel-efficiency and noise footprint reduction compared to previous generation models. Frontier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget, including base fares, a-la-carte options and one low-priced bundle called the WORKS.

Frontier’s commitment to families includes their ‘Discount Den’ travel club which allows children 14 years and younger to fly free on qualifying flights. The airline’s family friendly FRONTIER Miles loyalty program allows guests to earn one mile for every mile flown and permits the family pooling of miles, making it easier to earn rewards. Frontier currently has 150 new Airbus aircraft on order, which will continue to deliver on their mission of providing affordable travel across America.
