Frontier Airlines has today launched twice-weekly direct service between Orlando and Guadalajara, Mexico. The carrier has also started the only nonstop service between Denver International Airport and West Palm Beach, Florida.
On Sunday (November 6, 2022), Frontier Airlines announced the start of new twice-weekly service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida and Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) in Mexico. With the new route, the carrier currently serves a total of 57 destinations from Orlando. Celebrating the new route, Frontier is offering introductory one-way fares between Orlando and Guadalajara from $109. To qualify for the promotional fares, tickets must be booked by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on November 10, 2022, for travel on select days through March 1st, 2023. A seven day advance purchase is required, but a roundtrip purchase is not. Blackout dates include November 23, 26-38, 2022, December 16, 2022 through January 3, 2023 and February 20, 2023.
In Sunday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,
“Floridians are able to choose from an expansive list of domestic and international destinations thanks to Frontier’s tremendous growth at MCO. Guadalajara is another exciting location we’re proud to add to our Orlando roster. Flying to this Mexican metropolis is now easier and more affordable thanks to our “Low Fares Done Right.’”
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s Chief Executive, Kevin Thibault, added,
“Frontier Airlines’ continued growth on the international travel stage is welcomed news for Orlando International Airport. Additional non-stop service to Guadalajara opens up a world of business and leisure travel opportunities for Central Florida residents.”
In a separate press release on Sunday (November 6, 2022), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of the only nonstop connection between Denver International Airport (DEN) and West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) in Florida, which will operate three times weekly. With the new route, Frontier now serves 66 nonstop destinations from Denver. Celebrating the new service, the carrier is offering introductory one-way fares from $69 (the same T&Cs previously described apply).
Speaking on the new DEN-PBI route, Frontier’s Daniel Shurz, said,
“We’re proud to be the only carrier offering Denver-area consumers nonstop service to this popular South Florida destination. West Palm Beach is just one of many Florida destinations served by Frontier—offering Coloradans convenient and affordable travel to locations across the Sunshine State thanks to our ‘Low Fares Done Right.’”
Denver International Airport’s CEO, Phil Washington, added,
“The addition of flights to West Palm Beach provides a new option for travel to and from South Florida. Frontier’s new service further deepens DEN’s domestic network and supports both local demand and connecting passengers.”
