Frontier Airlines Launches New Routes From Dallas, Chicago, Miami and Rochester

Frontier Airlines is launching new service from Dallas to Chicago and Nashville and from Chicago-O’Hare to Dallas and St. Louis. Yesterday, the carrier announced new flights between Miami and Montego Bay, as well as new flights between Rochester and Orlando.

On Thursday (April 8, 2021), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of two new nonstop routes between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and both Chicago O’Hare and Nashville from June 2021. The carrier will offer three weekly flights from DFW to Nashville (BNA) starting June 11, 2021, as well as four weekly flights to Chicago (ORD) from June 11th. In a separate press release today, Frontier Airlines announced the addition of two new routes from Chicago O’Hare with service to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and St. Louis (STL). The airline will offer four weekly flights to both destinations starting June 11, 2021.


Speaking on the carrier’s new routes from Chicago, Frontier Airlines’ Vice President – Network and Operational Design, Josh Flyr, said,

“We’re excited to add two new destinations to our Chicago route map: Dallas and St. Louis. Frontier’s low fares and friendly service offer a great flying experience and convenient option to take a trip with family or friends this summer and explore more of America.”

Yesterday (April 7, 2021), the carrier announced the launch of new nonstop flights between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Montego Bay (MBJ), Jamaica. The new route will operate three times weekly from May 28, 2021, bringing Frontier’s offer from Miami to 30 nonstop routes.

Speaking on Frontier’s new service to Jamaica, Miami International Airport’s Director and CEO, Lester Sola, said,


“We’re excited to see Frontier adding yet another international route to their extensive network of flights at Miami International Airport. Jamaica continues to be one of our busiest international markets, and Frontier’s new Montego Bay service will provide those travelers with even more travel options between our two popular tourism destinations.”


Frontier Airlines also announced on Wednesday (April 7, 2021), the launch of new nonstop flights between Rochester, New York and Orlando, Florida. Flights will be offered three times weekly from May 20, 2021.


Commenting on the new direct Rochester-Orlando route, Monroe County Executive, Adam Bello, said,

“As air travel begins to reemerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing affordability and availability of flights out of the Frederick Douglass – Greater Rochester International Airport will help us keep our competitive advantage with other markets. Orlando is the number one destination for Monroe County residents, and these new nonstop flights from Rochester offer an additional safe and affordable way to the Sunshine State. I want to thank Frontier Airlines for their commitment to Monroe County and welcome them to ROC.”
