Frontier Airlines has today launched new three times weekly direct service between Cleveland, Ohio and San Diego, California. The carrier will also start four weekly flights between Cleveland and San Francisco from June 21, 2023.
On Thursday (June 8, 2023), Frontier Airlines announced the start of new nonstop service between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and San Diego International Airport (SAN). The route will now operate three times weekly with introductory one-way fares from $119. Additionally, the carrier will launch new service between Cleveland and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) from June 21, 2023. One-way fares to San Francisco are also now available from $119. To qualify for the low promotional fares, tickets must be booked by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on June 16, 2023, for travel on select days through July 28, 2023. Blackout dates include July 3-6, 13, 20, and 27, 2023. A seven day advance purchase is required, but a roundtrip booking is not required.
In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,
