Frontier Airlines Announces Six New Nonstop Routes From Las Vegas

The carrier’s expanded service from Las Vegas includes new nonstop flights to El Paso, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta from March 2021. The new routes increase Frontier’s nonstop route network from Las Vegas to 44 cities.

On Tuesday (December 15, 2020), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of six new nonstop routes from Las Vegas, expanding their route network from the city to 44 nonstop destinations. The new routes from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) will commence in March 2021 and include service to El Paso, Little Rock, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta. In Tuesday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,


“We’re excited to announce six new routes and expand our already robust service in Las Vegas. We have made a very strong commitment to Las Vegas, which is one of our largest bases, and continue to build on our partnership with the Entertainment Capital of the World through the addition of new service. We look forward to continuing our outstanding relationship with McCarran International Airport and the fabulous Las Vegas community.”


Also commenting on today’s announcement, McCarran International Airport’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Jones, added,

“These new routes not only support travelers’ enduring desire to experience Las Vegas, but also the belief that we will be a leading destination as air travel picks up. Frontier has been a dedicated and consistent partner throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Our shared commitment to creating a safe travel experience for all those flying through LAS remains strong. We look forward to welcoming more of their passengers early next year.”


Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s Vice President of Marketing, H. Fletch Brunelle, further stated,

“We’re delighted that our partners at Frontier Airlines are launching nonstop service to Las Vegas from six new markets. We believe that in the new year people will be eager to travel, and these new nonstop routes will be incredibly popular with repeat and first-time visitors looking for a convenient and affordable getaway to Las Vegas.”

Frontier Airlines is committed to “Low Fares Done Right.” The Denver-based carrier operates the largest Airbus A320neo fleet in the U.S. and is a leader in sustainability initiatives and carbon reduction efforts. The A320neo (new engine option) offers greater fuel efficiency and a reduced noise footprint compared to previous generation models. The carrier uses around 43 percent less fuel when compared to other U.S. carriers due to a unique seating configuration and other weight saving tactics. Frontier currently has 160 new Airbus A320neo Family aircraft on order and the company’s young and efficient fleet will help it continue to low fares for customers. Frontier’s commitment to families includes their ‘Discount Den’ travel club which allows children 14 years and younger to fly free on qualifying flights.
