flynas has today firmed an order for 30 new Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, expanding their total orders to 120 A320neos, including 10 A321XLRs.
On Monday (June 19, 2023), from the Paris Air Show, Airbus announced that Saudi Arabian LCC flynas has firmed an order for 30 additional Airbus A320neo aircraft, expanding their total orders to 120 A320neo aircraft, including 10 A321XLRs. The agreement was signed by flynas’ Chief Executive Officer Bandar Almohanna and Airbus’ Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International Christian Scherer. Also attending today’s signing ceremony was H.E. Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistic Service, H.E. Abdulaziz Alduailj, President of General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia, and Ayed Aljeaid, Chairman of the Board of NAS Holding.
In today’s order announcement, flynas’ Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Bander Almohanna, said,

flynas is an all-Airbus operator and the first airline in Saudi Arabia to acquire the A320neo. Currently, the carrier operates a fleet of 32 Airbus A320neos, 13 A320ceos and four A330-300s. The A320neo combines new generation engines, Sharklets and state-of-the-art aerodynamics to deliver a fuel burn and emissions reduction of at least 20 percent versus previous generation aircraft. With over 8,700 orders from 136 customers, the A320neo Family is the world’s most popular aircraft.
