Finnair Updates Winter 2024/25 and Summer 2025 Flying Programs With More Frequencies and Routes

Starting winter 2024/25, Finnair will increase frequencies to Dallas, with a year-round daily service.  For summer 2025, the carrier will offer daily service to both Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita, and will also launch new service to Kirkenes in Norway via Ivalo.

On Tuesday (April 9, 2024), Finnair announced updates to their winter 2024/25 and summer 2025 flying programs.  This winter, the carrier will increase frequencies to Dallas, with daily year-round service.  For summer 2025, Finnair will increase frequencies to Tokyo Narita, thereby offering daily service to both Tokyo Narita and Tokyo Haneda.  Additionally, a third weekly frequency will be added to Nagoya.  Next summer, Finnair will also add new service to Kirkenes in Northern Norway.  From Helsinki, the route will operate three times weekly via Ivalo with a 68-seat ATR turboprop aircraft. 


In Tuesday’s announcement, Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ole Orvér, said,


“We are delighted to introduce a destination that further strengthens our already extensive network in the Arctic region.  The new route enables a smooth connection for customers travelling up to Northern Norway, making it fast and easy to reach the destination from Helsinki.”  


For summer 2025, Finnair will also add frequencies to Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius, with five weekly services to both Tallinn and Riga, and two additional weekly flights to Vilnius.
