Finnair Adds Four New Scheduled Destinations for Summer 2026

For summer 2026, Finnair will introduce new service from Helsinki to Catania, Florence and Valencia. Service to the Greek island of Kos, previously operated as a charter, will now operate as a scheduled service.

On Wednesday (August 27, 2025), Finnair announced an expansion of their summer 2026 flying program with new service from Helsinki to Catania, Florence and Valencia. The carrier will also offer scheduled service to the Greek island of Kos, previously operated as a charter service. Finnair will operate two weekly flights to Florence from April 2, 2024, and three weekly flights to Catania starting March 31, 2026. Additionally, there will also be two weekly departures to Valencia, and Kos, starting on April 11, 2026, and May 2, 2026, respectively.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Finnair’s Chief Revenue Officer, Christine Rovelli, said,
“Italy, Spain, and Greece are particularly popular with our Finnish and Northern European customers during the summer months. The new destinations complement our Southern European network, offering both beach holidays and culture, and the travel period extends from spring to autumn.”
