Guests traveling with Fiji Airways will now have more flexibility and choice with the carrier’s new ‘Fly Your Way’ unbundled Economy Class Fare Concept. Fly Your Way includes four fare categories, namely Lite, Value, Comfort and Plus.
On Monday (February 13, 2023) Fiji Airways announced the introduction of their new ‘Fly Your Way’ unbundled Economy fare concept which includes four options, namely Lite, Value, Comfort and Plus. The Lite fare includes a meal or snack, beverages, frequent flyer points and one carry-on bag. The Value fare includes all of the aforementioned benefits plus one checked bags and the ability to change the itinerary with fees. Comfort includes everything Value offers, plus the ability to cancel with fees and standard seat selection. The top-level Plus fare also allows for two checked bags, flexible and fully refundable tickets, and favorite seat selection, along with priority check-in, baggage and boarding.
In Monday’s announcement, Fiji Airways’ Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Andre Viljoen, said,
“Fly Your Way represents the best value for money for all guests whether travelling light for a weekend getaway, or bringing the whole family for an annual holiday. Our customers have various needs when they travel whether for business or leisure, and with this new concept, we give them the ability to choose the product that best suits them. We have conducted extensive global market research and I am certain our different guest demographics will see the benefit in each of them. The results of the market research showed what our different customers expect and value most when travelling, and what they prefer more flexibility with, and that’s the approach we took when designing these categories.”

Fiji Airways has also overhauled their onboard Business Class dining experience in partnership with renowned Kiwi-Fijian Chef Richard Cross, and has also introduced a new suite of highly rated international wines. Additionally, guests now have access to the digital reading platform, PressReader, which includes over 7,000 international newspapers and magazines that can be downloaded directly to their personal device. The service is available 96 hours prior to departure and up to 24 hours after the flight. For their youngest guests, Fiji Airways offers ‘Our Ocean, Our Life’, a complimentary inflight activity pack and book series for passengers aged 2-12, which is dedicated to education the future generation on the importance of preserving and protecting Fiji’s fragile marine environment.
