Etihad Guest Partners With Air Arabia’s AirRewards for Exclusive Loyalty Benefits

Etihad Airways has announced a new partnership between their Etihad Guest loyalty program and Air Arabia’s AirRewards program. Etihad Guest Miles can now be redeemed for Air Arabia flights, meals and baggage, while AirRewards Points can be converted to Etihad Miles.

On Sunday (June 13, 2021), Etihad Airways announced the launch of a loyalty partnership between the airline’s Etihad Guest program and Air Arabia’s AirRewards program. Under the partnership, Etihad Guest members can now redeem their Miles for Air Arabia flights, meals and baggage. Likewise, AirRewards members can convert AirRewards Points for Etihad Guest Miles for flights, Miles on the Go, car rentals, hotels, or to spend in the Etihad Guest Reward shop. When transferring miles, Etihad Guest members will receive one AirReward Point for every two Etihad Guest Miles, while AirRewards can be transferred to Etihad Guest at the rate of two AirRewards Points per Etihad Guest Mile.


In Sunday’s announcement, Etihad Airways’ Head of Loyalty & Partnerships, Kim Hardaker, said,


“This partnership will provide both Etihad Guest and AirRewards with the opportunity to significantly broaden the travel reach, rewards and programme benefits for our respective members. The collaboration is designed to both engage with new customers, while further improving the benefits for our existing loyalty members.”


Launched in October 2003, Air Arabia was the Middle East and North Africa’s first low-cost carrier (LCC). The airline currently has five international bases in the UAE, Egypt and Morocco. In 2020, Etihad Airways announced the launch co a codeshare partnership with the UAE capital’s first LCC, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.
