Etihad Airways announced on Sunday that their Etihad Engineering unit recorded robust growth in 2019 as the carrier prepares to participate in MRO Middle East at the Dubai World Trade Centre this week.

On Sunday, Etihad Airways announced robust 2019 growth for their in-house maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) division, Etihad Engineering. The carrier will be participating in the MRO Middle East event at the Dubai World Trade Centre on February 24th and 25th. Etihad engineering provides world-class maintenance services both to Etihad Airways as well as third-party operators from around the world. The MRO’s cutting-edge innovation resulted in the service of 356 aircraft in 2019 including 196 Airbus and 160 Boeing aircraft. Last year, Etihad Engineering recorded over 1.6 million man-hours in their MRO operation. In Sunday’s announcement, Etihad Engineering’s Vice President Technical Sales, Frederic Dupont said,

At this week’s MRO Middle East event, Etihad Engineering will showcase their capabilities and welcome a variety of delegations and working groups. Additionally, Mr. Dupont and Etihad’s Head of Engineering, Shevantha Weerasekera, will participate in thought leadership workshops.
