Etihad Airways Launches World-First Luxury Partnership With Armani/Casa

Etihad Airways has partnered with Armani/Casa to deliver an unparalleled premium travel experience. Launching in December 2022, the partnership creates a unique vision for Etihad’s premium offering, created with celebrated designer Giorgio Armani.

On Tuesday (October 18, 2022), Etihad Airways announced a world-first partnership with Armani/Casa to deliver an unparalleled premium travel experience. From December 2022, Etihad’s premium guests will enjoy a new onboard experience, exclusively created with famed designer Giorgio Armani. The Etihad and Armani/Casa collaboration introduces ‘The Constellation Collection, inspired by the majesty of the stars. The elevated experience includes a new dining service featuring ceramics, glassware, cutlery and serving ware, as well as new premium textiles. The range is embellished with a unique geometric pattern, offering a ‘beyond Business’ experience for Etihad’s guests.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Etihad Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Tony Douglas, said,

“Today we unveil a completely new and elevated way to fly with Etihad Airways—an experience defined by our Emirati heritage yet shaped by a clear vision for our future. Known globally for its Italian luxury and elegance, Armani/Casa is the ideal brand partner to create an unparalleled level of bespoke service and refinement for our guests.”

With refined silhouettes, elevated contemporary finishes, mixed materials and embossed patterns, Etihad’s new dining service redefines Business Class travel. The use of multiple textures represents the cultural diversity of the UAE, while the color palette reflects the surroundings of Abu Dhabi, with dark green inspired by date palm trees, aquamarine representing the mangroves, and slate to symbolize the modern Abu Dhabi skyline. The signature cutlery is elegantly tactile, with patterned handles bringing the unmistakable Armani/Casa experience directly to each guest. The entire collection has been designed with sustainability in mind, with innovations that will reduce weight by up to 10 percent, resulting in reduced fuel burn and emissions.

The range of premium textiles brings together one of the world’s most renowned luxury lifestyle brands with premium materials for the ultimate in comfort and rest. The matching pillow case and duvet feature Armani/Casa signature designs, further enhancing the Business Class turn-down experience. On longer flights, guests will also enjoy new innovative memory foam mattresses, adding extra comfort to the fully-flat Business Class bed.
