On Thursday (May 25, 2023), Iberia announced that the Espacio Iberia has reopened in the heart of the Madrid city center on Calle Maestro Victoria 3, just 300 meters from the Puerta del sol. The experience will be open to customers and guests from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily until July 1st, 2023. The Espacio Iberia will hosts great talents, including Rozalén, Elvira Lindo, Itziar Ituño, Natalia Millán, Palomo Spain and Teresa Helbig. Visitors to the unique space will have the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of crew members and try on one of Iberia’s iconic uniforms, or enjoy numerous scheduled activities such as show-cooking, coffee, beer and wine tasting, as well as the flight simulator. Additionally, guests can visit the Espacio Iberia store where they can purchase aircraft models, advertising posters, and even a replica bag from the new uniform collection.

At the Espacio Iberia, the cabin of the latest generation Airbus A350 has been recreated with two Business Class seats, four Premium Economy seats and four Economy seats, where guests can enjoy a 30,000 foot experience without leaving the ground. Customers will be able to sample onboard meals prepared daily by DO&CO in their kitchens, featuring the richness on the Mediterranean diet, with high quality ingredients and local seasonal products. Espacio Iberia will also be hosting a range of events featuring figures from sport, audiovisual production, literature and fashion. The first of these events called ‘Lyrics and Music’ took place on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. and featured the singer Rozalén and the actress Itziar Ituño. Customers wishing to attend wine and beer tastings, or a show-cooking event can book these activities in advance by clicking here, or at the Espacio Iberia reception desk.

Visitors to Espacio Iberia can also walk down memory lane, as all of the uniforms throughout Iberia’s history will be on display. Guests will also be able to try on the uniforms, from the first military-inspired uniform followed by iconic designs by Pedro Rodríguez, Elio Berhanyer, Pertegaz, Alfredo Caral, Adolfo Domínguez, and the current one, designed by Teresa Helbig. If visitors to the Espacio Iberia try on uniforms and then upload their photos to IG Stories, they will take part in the draw for two Business Class flights New York. As previously mentioned, the Espacio Iberia will also host a small store where customers can purchase a variety of unique and historical items, including the salt and pepper shakers inspired by Las Meninas that are offered onboard in Business Class.
