Emirates to Serve a Thanksgiving Feast in the Skies on U.S. Flights From Dubai

From November 24th through 26th, Emirates will be giving travelers a taste of home this Thanksgiving with special menus across all classes on flights from Dubai to U.S. destinations. Guests visiting the iconic A380 onboard lounge will also receive a special Thanksgiving treat.

On Monday (November 22, 2021), Emirates announced that they will be offering special onboard menus across all classes this Thanksgiving for guests traveling between Dubai and the U.S. from November 24th through 26th, 2021. Customers in First and Business Class can enjoy a taste of home with Thanksgiving sliced roasted turkey served with cranberry jus lié, mashed sweet potatoes, blanched broccolini, paprika potato wedges and honey-glazed pumpkin with crushed pecans. For dessert, guests can savor a pecan tart with passion fruit cream, chocolate sauce and crème anglaise. Customers traveling onboard Emirates’ flagship Airbus A380 from Dubai to Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C., will also be able to celebrate Thanksgiving in the iconic onboard lounge with delectable marzipan-topped pumpkin cupcakes.


Economy Class customers can also enjoy the holiday with roasted sliced turkey with cranberry lié, chestnut roulade, green peas and mashed parsnip with carrots. Emirates offers one of the widest selections of beverages onboard, including some of the finest wines and champagnes in the skies, for guests to enjoy with their Thanksgiving meals. Additionally, the carrier serves complimentary spirits across all classes and routes, including a range of whiskeys, cognacs, gins, vodka, flavored liqueurs and more. Thanksgiving will also be celebrated at Emirates’ U.S. lounges. On November 24th and 25th, the airline’s lounges in New York (JFK), Boston (BOS) and Los Angeles (LAX) will serve authentic Thanksgiving turkey dishes with all of the trimmings.


Emirates currently offers service to 12 U.S. gateways including Boston (BOS), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), Houston (IAH), Chicago (ORD), Washington D.C. (IAD), Seattle (SEA), Newark (EWR), Orlando (MCO), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), San Francisco and Miami (MIA). As a cosmopolitan international airline, Emirates has established a tradition of global inflight celebrations with seasonal menus in addition to their regionally inspired cuisine. Each year, the carrier offers special menus for Christmas, Eid and Lunar New Year. Recently, Emirates also offered festive onboard treats for Diwali and an authentic Bavarian main course and desserts for Oktoberfest.
