Starting October 29, 2023, Emirates will offer Premium Economy to guests flying to and from Mumbai and Bengaluru. The carrier will be operating their newly retrofitted Airbus A380 aircraft to these two popular destinations in India.
On Tuesday (June 13, 2023), Emirates announced the launch of Premium Economy Class service to Mumbai and Bengaluru in starting October 29, 2023. The two popular destinations in India will be served with a newly retrofitted flagship Airbus A380 aircraft, offering an elevated experience in all cabins. Guests traveling to Between Dubai and Mumbai can book Premium Economy on flights EK500/501, while customers flying the Dubai-Bengaluru route can book Premium Economy on flights EK568/569. Emirates originally launched service from Dubai to Delhi and Mumbai in October 1985. Currently, the airline serves nine destinations in India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram.

As Emirates continues to roll out their refreshed A380s featuring a four-class configuration, Premium Economy will be available on flights to more destinations. Premium Economy cabins are already available to nine destinations, including New York-JFK, San Francisco, Houston, London Heathrow, Sydney, Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne and Singapore. The product will be introduced to Los Angeles in July, and will be available to 12 destinations by the end of 2023.
