Emirates to Offer Complimentary Expo 2020 Dubai Passes for Guests traveling to or Through Dubai

Emirates customers visiting Dubai during the highly anticipated Expo 2020 Dubai from October 1st, 2021 through March 31, 2022, will be eligible to receive a free Emirates Expo Day Pass for every ticket booked with the carrier.

On Monday (August 9, 2021), Emirates, the Premier Partner and Official Airline of Expo 2020 Dubai, announced an exclusive offer for guests traveling to or through Dubai during the highly anticipated even which runs from October 1st, 2021 through March 31, 2022. For each flight ticket booked with Emirates for travel to Dubai during the event, customers will be eligible to receive a free Emirates Expo Day Pass. The offer is valid for all return First, Business and Economy Class tickets that include a flight to or through Dubai, including tickets booked through Emirates on flydubai. To qualify for the special offer, customers must have a connection in Dubai of at least six hours. One-way ticket holders for flights originating outside the UAE are also eligible for the complimentary Expo Day Pass if traveling to Dubai, or onward to another destination, providing the minimum connection time is met.


As the Premier Partner and Official Airline of Expo 2020 Dubai, Emirates will also soon launch various Expo-themed travel packages for customers to enjoy the excitement of the 182-day event, as well as the many experiences Dubai has to offer. Additionally, guests will earn one Skywards Mile for Every minute spent in Dubai between October 1st, 2021 and March 31, 2022. While at the Expo, travel and aviation enthusiasts can visit Emirates’ dedicated pavilion to experience the future of aviation in the UAE’s centennial year in 2071. The pavilion will offer immersive experiences, providing a glimpse into the future of aircraft cabin design, how the flying experience is being reimagined, as well as upcoming materials and technologies that will improve sustainability.



Expo 2020 Dubai will be the first World Expo ever hosted in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region. The Expo’s theme is ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ and aims to inspire visitors by showcasing the best examples of collaboration, innovation and cooperation from around the world. The six-month event’s bustling program will be packed with experiences that suit all ages and interests, including themed weeks, as well as entertainment and educational events. Art and culture enthusiasts, along with foodies and technology fans, will enjoy exhibits, workshops, performances, live shows and more.
