Emirates Secures Site at Dubai Investments Park for New Cabin Crew Village

Emirates has today announced that the signing of an agreement with Dubai Investments Park securing a site for the new Cabin Crew Village, a modern residential community housing up to 12,000 cabin crew members.

On Wednesday (January 21, 2026), Emirates announced the signing of an agreement with Dubai Investments Park (DIP) to acquire land for a new purpose-built Cabin Crew Village.  This represents a multi-billion-dirham investment, and the development will feature a mixed-use and residential community designed to accommodate up to 12,000 cabin crew members.  The agreement was signed by Ali Mubarak Al Soori, Emirates’ Chief Procurement & Facilities Officer and Khalid Bin Kalban, Vice Chairman & CEO, Dubai Investments, in the presence of other dignitaries and stakeholders.  Groundbreaking is planned for the second quarter of 2026, with the first phase expected to be completed in 2029.  The development is being delivered through a long-term lease arrangement.

In Wednesday’s announcement, Emirates’ Chief Procurement & Facilities Officer, Ali Mubarak Al Soori, said,

Also commenting on the new agreement with Emirates, Dubai Investments Park’s General Manager, Omar Al Mesmar, added,

Emirates’ Cabin Crew Village will consist of 20 contemporary residential buildings, each rising 19 floors, offering a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units. It has been designed as a complete lifestyle destination, offering a broad range of amenities that support the health and wellbeing of the airline’s crew community.  The development will also feature a multi-purpose hub with a selection of retail outlets, restaurants and food concepts, alongside modern fitness facilities, clinics, and dedicated public spaces and parks.

Strategically located between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC), the Emirates Crew Village will support Emirates’ long-term operational plans and move to Al Maktoum International Airport, while delivering the best possible living experience for cabin crew team members.
