Emirates is deploying their newly refreshed Boeing 777s with Premium Economy to Six U.S. destinations, including Chicago, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Seattle, as well as linked routes to Miami/Bogotá and Newark/Athens.
On Wednesday (September 19, 2024), Emirates announced that they will deploy their newly updated Boeing 777s featuring Premium Economy to six U.S. cities, including Chicago (ORD), Boston (BOS), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), and Seattle (SEA), as well as on linked Miami/Bogotá and Newark/Athens routes. In total, 10 of Emirates 12 U.S. gateways will feature Premium Economy by February 2025. The newly refreshed 777s also feature a new Business Class product in a 1-2-1 configuration.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said,
“With the success and popularity of Premium Economy on routes like New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Houston served by our refurbished A380, we look forward to bringing a new level of comfort and privacy to more cities with refreshed cabins on our Boeing 777s. The introduction of our refreshed product and ensuring consistent experiences in the sky on more routes is part of our long-standing commitment to the US and adding more premium options in a span of just a few months ensures we offer a competitive, value for money proposition for our customers.”

The newly refurbished four-class Boeing 777s will debut in the U.S. starting next month until early 2025, with Chicago service starting on November 1st, Boston on December 10th, Dallas-Fort Worth from January 9th, Seattle from January 24th, Newark Athens from February 10th, and Miami/Bogotá From February 19, 2025. The aircraft feature six or eight First Class suites, 38 or 40 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy, and 257 Economy Class seats.
Emirates’ popular signature Premium Economy seats will now be available on a mix of Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s. With the rollout of Emirates’ refreshed 777s, Premium Economy will be available to 27 cities worldwide by the end of 2024, including Dubai, on 48 Boeing 777s, Airbus A380s and A350s. Customers traveling on Emirates’ retrofitted aircraft will also enjoy updated interiors which sport a blend of new designs and color palettes in the carpeting, wall panels, and wood finishings, to name just a few of the aesthetic enhancements.
