Emirates Launches New Daily Service to Shenzhen, China

Emirates has today announced the launch of new daily service to Shenzhen in China, with the inaugural flight, EK328, touching down at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

On Wednesday (July 2, 2025), Emirates announced the launch of new daily service to Shenzhen, their fourth Chinese mainland destination, complementing existing service to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The inaugural flight, EK328, touched down at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 and was welcomed by distinguished guests and media partners. Guests onboard the inaugural flight from Dubai received special gifts and certificates to mark the occasion. The route will be operated with a newly refreshed four-class Boeing 777-300ER. Flight EK328 departs Dubai at 10:05, and arrives in Shenzhen at 22:00, while the return flight, EK329, departs Shenzhen at 23:55 and touches down back in Dubai at 03:40+1 (all times local).
In Wednesday’s announcement, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said,

This milestone reflects Emirates’ ongoing commitment to strengthening our presence in the Chinese mainland and supporting the country’s trade and tourism objectives . It is also aligned with the strengthening of China-UAE relations, and a strategic move to seamlessly connect the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s innovation corridor - an international innovation and technology (I&T) hub that aims to attract global innovation resources, through our flights.

We look forward to connecting more travellers and businesses between Shenzhen and Dubai and across our growing network.”

Flights to and from Shenzhen have been conveniently timed to enable seamless connectivity via Dubai to key destinations across Europe, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam, as well as points in Kenya, Egypt, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and more. Guests traveling to Shenzhen will enjoy an elevated travel experience onboard one of Emirates’ enhanced Boeing 777-300ERs, which feature eight private First Class suites, 40 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 260 spacious Economy Class seats. The aircraft deployed on the Dubai-Shenzhen route also offers 16 tons of cargo capacity per flight, connecting Shenzhen’s advanced manufacturing sector with Emirates’ global cargo network.
