Emirates Launches Inaugural Service to Miami International Airport in Florida

This morning, Emirates flight EK213 departed Dubai at 03:10 local time enroute to Miami, Florida. Emirates will offer four weekly flights to Miami with a Boeing 777-300ER featuring eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat Business Class and 304 Economy Class seats.

On Thursday (July 22, 2021), Emirates announced the launch of their inaugural flight between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Miami International Airport (MIA) in Florida. Flight EK213, a Boeing 777-300ER, departed Dubai at 03:10 this morning local time. The route will be operated four times weekly and serviced with Emirates’ ‘Gamechanger’ 777-300ER aircraft featuring eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat Business Class seats and 304 spacious and comfortable Economy Class suites. Today’s inaugural flight to Miami was commanded by Captain Abdulla Alhammadi, Captain John Brosnan, First Officer Stuart Clay Jr. and First Officer Carlos Montero Corral.


The new Miami service expands Emirates U.S. network to 12 U.S. destinations, with Miami serving as a gateway to the Caribbean, Central America and South America. Currently, the carrier is operating over 60 percent of their pre-pandemic capacity to the United States and will continue to expand their U.S. offer in line with increasing demand. In addition to the new Miami service, this Emirates has launched service to Nice, Mexico City, Phuket, Lyon, Mauritius and Malta during July.
