Emirates has today announced that they will deploy their newly refurbished Boeing 777s featuring their latest Business Class and Premium Economy cabins on routes to Kuwait and Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
On Thursday (October 17, 2024), Emirates announced the introduction of their newly refreshed Boeing 777s featuring the next generation Business Class cabin and the carrier’s signature Premium Economy cabin on routes from Dubai to Kuwait and Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The Emirates retrofitted B777 service to Kuwait will commence on October 27th as EK855/856, while flights to Dammam will start on November 22nd as EK823/24.
Emirates’ B777s entered refurbishment in early and have since been deployed to Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, Haneda and Riyadh. The aircraft are configured in four classes and feature 24 Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 abreast layout. The 19.5-inch cream leather seats offer a generous 38-inch pitch and 8-inch recline, as well as an adjustable 6-way headrest.
The new 777 Business Class experience has been inspired by the carrier’s Airbus A380 experience, and feature soft leather cream seats accented with champagne trim, lighter wood paneling, a mini-bar, and other technology touches. Emirates’ new Business Class cabin offers 38 seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access for every guest. Seats also convert into a spacious flatbed with a 78.6-inch recline, and feature a 23-inch HD inflight entertainment (IFE) screen. The Business Class cabin also has a small bar for light snacks and refreshments.
