Emirates and AEGEAN have today launched a new codeshare partnership with AEGEAN, providing added connectivity for Emirates’ guests to eight destinations in Greece including Kerkyra, Chania, Irakleion, Mikonos, Thira, Rhodes Thessaloniki and Alexandropoulos.
On Monday (August 15, 2022), Emirates announced the launch of a new codeshare partnership with AEGEAN, providing enhanced connectivity in Greece. Emirates will place their code on AEGEAN operated flights to eight destinations including Kerkyra, Chania, Irakleion, Mikonos, Thira, Rhodes Thessaloniki and Alexandropoulos. AEGEAN will also place their code on flights operated by Emirates between Athens and Dubai, providing seamless connectivity for AEGEAN guests traveling to Dubai and beyond.
From October 2022, the codeshare partnership will be expanded to include eight more European regional routes vis Athens, with service to Bucharest, Belgrade,, Naples and more, as well as Emirates’ flights between Athens and New York Newark (EWR). Currently, Emirates serves Athens 12 times weekly with a Boeing 777. Emirates offers truly global connectivity through codeshare partnerships with over 26 carriers and two rail partners, along with 110 interline partners worldwide.
