On Thursday (August 4, 2022), Emerald Airlines, the exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional, announced that they are currently seeking experienced Captains to join their growing team in Belfast, as the carrier increases frequencies from George Best Belfast City Airport. Opportunities are now available for experienced Captains who hold a CAA license and have a right to work in the UK. The ATR72-600 forms the backbone of Emerald Airlines’ growing fleet, with an average age of only 6.0 years. The aircraft is the latest generation turboprop, delivering unmatched environmental and economic performance with ultra-low fuel burn and 40 percent less emissions on short regional flights.
In today’s announcement, Emerald Airlines’ Head of People and Culture, Maria Killian, said,

Striving to be the airline of choice for those travelling to and from Belfast, this is a great opportunity for experienced Captains who may not have completed their type-rating for an ATR72-600, but are eager to do so.
