EL AL announced on Wednesday that they will gradually resume cargo and scheduled passenger flights. Cargo services to Shanghai, Bombay and Honk Kong restarted on September 21, 2020 and the carrier will resume passenger flights from October 1st.
On Wednesday (September 23, 2020), EL AL announced a gradual resumption of both cargo and passenger flights through October. The carrier restarted cargo service to Shanghai, Bombay, and Hong Kong on September 21st and will resume passenger service to Athens from October 1, 2020. EL AL’s subsidiary Sun D’or will also offer charter flights to several destinations in Greece and Croatia through select tourism wholesalers in Israel. Starting October 12, 2020, EL AL will restart operations to their primary destinations including New York, London and Paris. The flights will be operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner configured with Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins.
