easyJet to Launch Two New Routes to Ibiza and Reus in Spain for Summer 2026

easyJet has announced the launch of new service from London Southend to Ibiza and London Gatwick to Reus for summer 2026, expanding the carrier’s unmatched short-haul network to over 640 routes to 140 destinations across 32 countries.

On Thursday (December 18, 2025), easyJet announced two new routes for summer 2026, including service from London Southend to Ibiza and London Gatwick to Reus in Spain.  The inaugural flight to Ibiza from London Southend will take off for the first time on April 29, 2026 with twice-weekly departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Since the opening of easyJet’s newest base at London Southend, the airline now offers an unrivalled network of 25 routes across the UK, Europe and North Africa.  easyJet’s new service to Reus from London Gatwick will start on June 22, 2026, with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.


In Thursday’s announcement, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Kevin Doyle, said,


“The addition of these popular Spanish destinations, Reus and Ibiza, to our networks and Holidays Portfolio from London Gatwick and London Southend provides our customers with even more choice and great value when booking their European holidays next summer.  As the UK’s largest airline, we’re always aiming to make travel easy, providing great value to Europe’s most loved destinations, and we can’t wait to welcome more customers on board.”


This announcement follows easyJet’s launch of 18 new routes for summer 2026 from eight UK airports, including service to Cape Verde from Bristol, Sharm El Sheikh from Glasgow and Naples from Liverpool.  easyJet is the UK’s largest airline, serving 22 UK airports with over 640 routes to 140 destinations from the UK to Europe and beyond.
