easyJet to Launch Four New Winter Routes From Three UK Airports

For winter 2024, easyJet will launch new service from London Stansted to Geneva and Zurich. The carrier will also start service from London Southend to Grenoble, as well as between Birmingham and Salzburg.

On Tuesday (September 5, 2023) easyJet announced the launch of four new routes from three UK airports for winter 2024. Starting January 13, 2024, the carrier will launch once-weekly service between Birmingham and Salzburg, Austria. From January 14, 2024, easyJet will also start new once-weekly service between London Southend and Grenoble in Spain. Additionally, starting December 16, 2023, the airline will launch new twice-weekly service from London Stansted to both Geneva and Zurich in Switzerland. As previously announced, easyJet is also opening a new Birmingham base in March 2024, with three based aircraft and a network of 29 routes. Flights an all new routes are now bookable with one-way fares from £24.99-£35.99.


In Today’s announcement, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Ali Gayward, said,


“We’re delighted to be launching even more new routes and holidays from our airports across the UK to a range of fantastic destinations, providing even more choice for our customers this winter who are looking to visit the Alps region whether that’s for skiing and other winter sports, or soaking in the culture and we can’t wait to welcome more customers on board.”


easyJet has already put 19 new routes on sale from the UK for this winter, including flights to Cairo (Egypt) and Rovaniemi (Finland), from two UK airports for a magical Christmas Lapland getaway.
