easyJet has announced the return of the fan favorite Bacon Roll onboard UK flights from December 4, 2025.

On Thursday (December 4, 2025), easyJet announced the return of their beloved Bacon Roll onboard UK flights in a highly anticipated comeback. The carrier has also revealed what snacks and drinks customers across the UK and Europe have been ordering over the past year. Britons have shown the love for the ham and cheese toastie, with over 1.3 million served on UK flights over the past year. Naturally, the nation of tea lovers lives up to their reputation, with Twinings English Breakfast Tea flying high for travelers from the UK. Travellers from the UK sipped on more than 2.1 million easyJet cups of tea, enough to fill over 850 Olympic swimming pools. Spanish flyers have also shown a clear love for tea, coming in second place only to water, although the British still drink 29 times as much.
In Thursday’s announcement, easyJet’s Inflight Retail Director, Russell Braterman, said,
“We are always looking for ways to enhance our customers’ onboard experience, which includes providing them with great food and drink choices to enjoy during their flight, no matter where and when they are travelling. We always listen to our customers’ feedback which is why we’ve brought the bacon roll back to our CAFE menu for UK flights from today.”
French travelers showed a strong appetite for easyJet’s Croque Monsieur along with those flying from the Netherlands, showing that classic comfort food hits the spot at 30,000 feet. Customers flying from Portugal also show a taste for snacking, with enough Pringles consumed to match up to the height of Lisbon’s Cristo Rei statue many times over. Flyers from Italy also enjoy Pringles as their onboard snack of choice, preferring to wash them down with a sparkling San Pellegrino.
Of course, coffee and water remain the ultimate travel essentials. Costa Americano and Evian Still Water are bestsellers on flights in every country, proving that whether you’re heading to the beach or the boardroom, a caffeine boost and hydration are the top choice. Coca-Cola has also proven to be a universal crowd-pleaser everywhere easyJet flies and particularly popular with travellers from Germany.
