easyJet Announces Launch of Nine New Routes from Six UK Airports

easyJet has today announced the launch of nine new routes across six UK airports, including new winter 2026/27 services to the Canary Islands, Egypt, France, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Poland and Slovenia.

On Friday (April 24, 2026), easyJet announced the launch of nine new routes from six UK airports.  New routes and package holidays include service from Birmingham to Agadir, Belfast International to Rome and Sharm El Sheikh, London Luton Airport to Ljubljana, London Southend Airport to Budapest, Newcastle to Fuerteventura, Reykjavik, and Krakow and Southampton to Paris. 


In Friday’s announcement, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Kevin Doyle, said,


“We are excited to be launching nine new routes and packages from across the UK for this winter, providing customers with even more choice and connectivity.  Whether they’re looking for winter sun, or a weekend away in some of Europe’s most iconic capitals, this new batch of routes further expands the range of exciting destinations available for our customers to choose from at affordable prices.”


The new routes will launch this winter with Southampton to Paris Charles de Gaulle taking off on October 25th, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.  Service from Belfast International to Sharm El Sheikh and Rome will start on October 25th and 26th, respectively. The Sharm El Sheikh service will depart twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, and Rome service will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.  easyJet’s new route from Birmingham to the coastal resort of Agadir in Morocco will start on October 27th, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.


easyJet’s new route from London Luton to Ljubljana will start on October 26th, departing three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  The new route from London Southend to Budapest will also start on October 26th, departing twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.  easyJet will also expand service from their newly opened Newcastle base with three new routes, including service to Fuerteventura, Krakow, and Reykjavik, which will launch on October 25, 26, and 27, respectively.  The route to Fuerteventura will depart twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, Krakow flights will depart twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, and Reykjavik service will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

With the new routes, easyJet will be the only airline operating from Belfast International to Sharm El Sheikh, and also the only carrier offering a regular connection from Belfast International to Rome.  easyJet will also be the exclusive operator of service from London Southend to Budapest and between London Luton and Ljubljana.
