Dublin Aerospace Welcomes Applications for 2024 Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship Program

Dublin Airport-based MRO, Dublin Aerospace, has today opened applications for their greatly anticipated Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship program.  This year’s program will welcome 15 new apprentices to the growing Dublin Aerospace team.

On Friday (March 8, 2024) Dublin Aerospace, a Dublin Airport-based MRO, announced the opening of applications for their highly-anticipated 2024 Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship program.  This year, the program will welcome 15 new apprentices, who will experience a blended approach of classroom and hands-on learning.  A combination of opportunities are available this year, including Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeships for Aircraft Overhaul in the Dublin Aerospace hangars, as well as within Mechanical Automation.  Applications must be submitted by April 14, 2024, and candidates who successfully complete the program will be considered for full-time positions with Dublin Aerospace.


In Friday’s announcement, Dublin Aerospace’s CEO, William Flaherty, said,

 

“As we open applications for this year’s apprenticeship intake, we are always delighted to see the overwhelming interest in our program from talented young people across Ireland.  At Dublin Aerospace, our apprentices fully integrate into our team, many of whom choose to continue their journey with us after completing their apprenticeship.  Several individuals have progressed to managerial roles, contributing significantly to driving our success as a leading MRO.  We look forward to warmly welcoming this year's apprentices as they join our team at Dublin Aerospace.”

Candidates for Dublin Aerospace’s Apprenticeship program must be over 18 years old on September 21, 2024, and must be Irish, EU or UK citizens.  Applicants also must have completed the ‘Leaving Certificate’, and have achieved, or expect to receive, a minimum of H5 or O4 in Leaving Certificate Mathematics and English (Grade D in Higher Level or Grade C in Lower Level Mathematics and English). Additionally, candidates must pass a colour vision test organized by Dublin Aerospace, as well as clear airport security vetting.  To learn more about, or to apply for the 2024 Dublin Aerospace Apprenticeship program, please click here.
