For winter 2024/25 Discover Airlines will offer 30 holiday destinations on short, medium and long-haul routes, including year-round service to Heraklion and Ibiza, and more connections to snow destinations such as Alta, Kittilä and Calgary.
On Tuesday (April 23, 2024), Discover Airlines announced an expansion of their winter 2024/25 schedule from Frankfurt and Munich, which will include 30 holiday destinations on short, medium and long-haul routes. Until now, Discover has only offered short and medium-haul flights, but will add long-haul destinations in 2025. This winter, Tulum in Mexico will become a new sunny destination, with two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays, complementing five weekly flights to Punta Cana and three weekly flights to Cancún. Service to Florida will also increase for the winter season with 10 weekly flights to Orlando, six weekly flights to Tampa Bay and twice weekly service to Fort Myers. Discover will also operate three weekly flights to Las Vegas.
Guests favoring a snowy winter getaway can look forward to new daily service to Calgary, Canada. The carrier will also offer two weekly flights to both Alta in Norway and Kittilä in the Finnish Lapland.
Frankfurt and Munich also offer popular year-round short and medium-haul destinations with service from both airports to the Canary Islands, with daily service to Gran Canaria and Tenerife from Frankfurt. New for the winter schedule is Ibiza, which will continue to be served with a weekly flight from each airport. Palma de Mallorca will be served 14 times weekly from Frankfurt and nine times weekly from Munich, while Madeira flights will operate from Frankfurt and Munich four and two times weekly, respectively. Discover Airlines will also serve Hurghada, with four weekly flights from Frankfurt and two weekly flights from Munich, while Marrakesh will see four weekly flights from both airports. From Frankfurt, Discover will also offer weekly service to Marsa Alam, twice weekly service to Bari, and new for the first time during winter, two weekly flights to Heraklion.
