On Monday (December 1, 2025), Discover Airlines announced the introduction of a special seat this Advent, the Santa Seat. During December, the cabin crew will randomly assign one Santa Seat in Economy Class on each flight. The lucky guest who gets the seat with the red headrest cover, along with their companion, will receive a greeting card, a snack, and a drink from Business Class. They will also receive a pair of Discover Airlines Christmas socks to match the season.
The Santa Seat is Discover’s Christmas version of the popular Sunny Seat, which has been available on all flights since 2023. This is part of the airline’s concept of offering guests little surprises onboard. In addition to the Santa Seat, all guests will receive chocolate coins. Speculoos cookies will also be distributed in Business Class on long-haul flights, and the range of toys for children will be expanded to include the popular plush airplane with a Christmas hat.
