Delta to Launch New Service Between Boston and Honolulu and From Seattle to Miami

For winter 2024/25, Delta Air Lines will expand their leisure network with new service between Boston and Honolulu, as well as between Seattle and Miami.  With the Seattle-Miami route, Delta will now connect MIA with all nine of their U.S. hubs.

On Friday (February 16, 2024), Delta Air Lines announced the launch of two new routes for winter 2024/25, including service between Boston (BOS) and Honolulu (HNL), as well as between Seattle (SEA) and Miami (MIA).  With the added service, Miami International Airport will now be connected to all nine of Delta’s U.S. hubs.  The seasonal Boston-Honolulu service will operate from November 21, 2024, through April 30, 2025. Customers traveling to Hawaii next winter will be able to choose from 22 nonstop daily flights across Delta’s network.  Travelers departing Boston can already access seven Florida destinations, as well as seven destinations across Mexico and the Caribbean, as part of Delta’s existing winter schedule.


In Friday’s announcement, Delta Air Lines’ SVP – Network Planning, Joe Esposito, said


“Over the past decade, Delta has been dedicated to refining our domestic footprint, and this year we’re strengthening our roots within our well-positioned U.S. hubs to match increased demand.  In cities like Boston, Atlanta and Seattle, we’re providing more choices and seamless connections to sought-after destinations.” 


Delta will also add a second daily seasonal frequency between Salt Lake City (SLC) and Honolulu next winter, which will operate from November 6, 2024 through March 29, 2025.  Customers departing Seattle will see a third daily frequency to HNL, with the added seasonal flight operating from December 21, 2024 through March 25, 2025.  The carrier is also resuming service between Atlanta (ATL) and Maui (OGG), which starts on November 21, 2024, and operates until March 29, 2025.  With the additional services, Delta will offer service to four Hawaiian destinations from eight U.S. cities.



For winter 2024/25, Delta will offer 38 peak-day departures to 13 destinations from Miami, with daily year-round service to Seattle commencing on December 21, 2024.  Delta’s expansion in Seattle also includes new service to Taipei (TPE), Taiwan and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), both starting this summer.
