Delta Air Lines to Resume Service Between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv From June 2024

Following an extensive security risk assessment, Delta Air Lines will resume daily service between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv starting June 7, 2024.  The route will be operated with an Airbus A330-900neo.

On Wednesday (March 13, 2024), Delta Air Lines announced that they will resume daily service between New York-JFK and Tel Aviv starting June 7, 2024.  The carrier took this decision after conducting an extensive security risk assessment, and will continue to monitor the situation in Israel.  The route will be serviced with and Airbus A330-900neo, providing customers nearly 2,000 weekly seats between New York and Israel.  Recently, Delta strengthened their presence in Israel via a codeshare agreement with Israel’s flag carrier, EL AL Israel Airlines.  Under the codeshare, Delta customers have access to EL AL’s direct flights to Tel Aviv from New York-JFK, New York-Newark, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
