Delta Air Lines to Launch New Nonstop Service from Boston to Madrid and Nice

For summer 2026, Delta Air Lines is expanding their European network from Boston with new service to Madrid and Nice.  The carrier is also expanding service from Boston to Barcelona and Milan.

On Wednesday (August 27, 2025), Delta Air Lines announced the launch of new service from Boston to Madrid and Nice starting May 16th and May 17, 2026, respectively.  With these additions, Delta will now serve 12 European destinations from Boston.  Additionally, Delta is expanding service from Boston to both Barcelona and Milan.  Daily flights to Barcelona will start on May 7th, while four weekly flights to Milan will start on May 16, 2026, both launching earlier than last year to better align with seasonal demand and provide greater flexibility. 


In Wednesday’s announcement, Delta’s SVP – Network Planning, Paul Baldoni, said,


“As Boston’s leading airline, Delta plays a vital role in connecting the city to the world.  By adding nonstop service to Madrid and Nice, we’re enhancing our European network and continuing our commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience from start to finish.  As a cornerstone of Delta’s global network, Boston plays a vital role in connecting our customers to the world.”

 

Also commenting on Delta’s European network expansion from Boston, Massport’s CEO, Rich Davey, said,


“We appreciate our partnership with Delta and are thrilled about their plans to grow their operations at Boston Logan with these new offerings to Spain and France, including Nice which will be our 60th international destination.  Starting next spring, these flights offer our passengers even more options to travel to Europe for business or pleasure.  With over 130 destinations to choose from and a new focus on improving the customer experience, Boston Logan is going above and beyond to meet passenger needs.”
