From December 4, 2025, through January 25, 2026, Delta Air Lines will operate daily flights to Lima, Peru, offering customers in the region direct access to one of South America’s most vibrant capital cities.

On Friday (July 11, 2025), Delta Air Lines announced the launch of new daily direct service between Salt Lake City (SLC), Utah and Lima, Peru (LIM). The route will operate seasonally from December 4, 2025 through January 25, 2026. Lima is Salt Lake City’s most in-demand South American destination. The new route will also provide convenient one-stop connectivity to Peru for travelers across the Western U.S., including from San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Las Vegas, Sacramento, and Boise.
In Friday’s announcement, Delta’s SVP – Network planning, Paul Baldoni, said,
“This new route is a significant milestone for Delta and our customers in Salt Lake City and throughout the Mountain West. With this expanded connectivity through our Salt Lake City hub, we’re proud to offer a faster, more convenient way to reach Lima and other major cities across South America.”
Also commenting on Delta’s new SLC-LIM route, Salt Lake City Department of Airports’ Executive Director, Bill Wyatt, added,
“This nonstop service from Salt Lake City to Lima will be embraced by Utah passengers and the state’s growing Latin American community. The route not only connects the state to 30 destinations throughout South America but will be the fourth continent our passengers will have nonstop access to, which further advances Salt Lake’s position as the crossroads of the world.”
Additionally, the new route strengthens Delta’s existing partnership with LATAM, offering travelers seamless one-stop connections via Lima to other exciting destinations across South America, including São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile, and many more.
Flights on the Salt lake City-Lima route will be operated with a Boeing 767-300ER featuring Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main booking options. Delta One guests will enjoy lie-flat seats and premium amenities such as luxurious new Missoni-designed bedding, amenity kits, and in-flight accessories that elevate the travel experience with comfort, elegance and signature Missoni style. Eligible customers transiting SLC can also enjoy the 28,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club on Concourse A, which features a Sky Deck overlooking panoramic mountain views and a 360-degree fireplace.
