Delta Air Lines’ First Direct Flight Between Atlanta and Marrakesh Takes to the Skies

Delta’s inaugural nonstop flight between Atlanta and Marrakesh took flight on Saturday, October 25, 2025, marking a major milestone in connecting the Southeast U.S. to the heart of Morocco.

On Tuesday (October 28, 2025), Delta Air Lines announced the launch of first-ever nonstop service between Atlanta and Marrakesh, with the inaugural service taking flight on Saturday, October 25, 2025. At Atlanta International Airport (ATL), the departure gate transformed into a festive send-off, where customers were welcomed with Moroccan music, a spread of sweet treats and colorful giveaways that added to the excitement. A ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together Delta employees, airport partners and customers to commemorate the historic launch. The route will now operate three times weekly.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Delta Air Lines’ Managing Director – EMEAI Operations, Christine Marchand-Pardo, said,
“Delta’s new nonstop service to Marrakech marks an exciting milestone in our commitment to connect the U.S. and Africa,” said Christine Marchand-Pardo, Delta’s Managing Director of EMEAI Operations. “This route opens the door to one of the world’s most vibrant and culturally rich destinations, making travel more seamless for our customers.”
