De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Announces the Sale of One OEM Refurbished Dash 8-400 to TrueNoord

De Havilland Canada has announced the sale of one OEM refurbished Dash 8-400 to regional aircraft lease specialist TrueNoord. After delivery, the aircraft will be placed on lease to Nexus Airlines.

On Thursday (September 4, 2025), De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited announced the sale of one OEM refurbished Dash 8-400 to regional aircraft leasing specialist, TrueNoord. Once delivered, the aircraft will be placed on lease to Nexus Airlines, a growing regional carrier in Australasia. An OEM Refurbished Dash 8-400 is completely renewed at De Havilland Canada’s Calgary facilities, and offers the proven dependability of a new-production aircraft along with tailored upgrades to suit customer requirements.
In Thursday’s announcement, De Havilland Canada’s VP – Sales and Marketing, Ryan DeBrusk, said,
“We are delighted to expand our relationship with TrueNoord and to support Nexus Airlines as they build their regional fleet around the Dash 8-400. Our OEM Refurbished Program delivers high-quality aircraft designed to meet the needs of growing regional operations, while providing exceptional value, performance, and reliability.”
Also commenting on the Dash 8-400 acquisition, TrueNoord’s Sales Director – Asia Pacific, Carst Lindeboom, said,
