On Tuesday (July 1, 2025), Condor announced an expansion of their European city route network for summer 2026 with the addition of new service from Frankfurt to Barcelona (BCN), Budapest (BUD), and Venice (VCE).  These three new destinations complement Condor’s existing city connections to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Paris (CDG), Milan (MXP), Rome (FCO), Vienna, Zurich and Prague in the 2026 summer timetable.  As part pf Condor’s ongoing fleet renewal program, more of the new fuel-efficient Airbus A320neos will be deployed on these routes.  The new aircraft are configured with Business Class and Economy Class cabins and feature larger overhead bins and Wi-Fi options.  Business Class guests will receive complimentary drinks and a high-quality snack, while Economy guests receive complimentary water and a sweet treat.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Condor’s CEO, Peter Gerber, said,

“Condor has successfully established itself on the market in recent months with the new city destinations from Frankfurt.  Since then, we have been offering our guests an attractive product on our daily flights at optimal flight times for business and city travellers.  This has been well received, so it is a logical next step to offer further exciting cities with Barcelona, Budapest and Venice.”

Founded in 1956, Condor Flugdienst GmbH is Germany’s favorite leisure airline and serves over nine million guests annually to over 90 destinations in Europe, Africa, and America from nine German gateways, Zurich and Vienna.  The German leisure carrier has a fleet of over 50 aircraft which are meticulously maintained to the highest safety standards by their wholly owned subsidiary Condor Technik with facilities in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.  Condor was the German launch customer for the state-of-the-art Airbus A330neo, and currently has 43 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft on order.
