From Autumn 2022, guests traveling aboard Condor’s new Airbus A330neo will enjoy a stylish and elegant new onboard experience. Starting this fall, the carrier will take delivery of approximately one A330neo per month, replacing their current Boeing 767 fleet.
On Wednesday (June 1, 2022), Condor revealed details regarding their first new Airbus A330neo, which will be enter service this fall. The aircraft will be configured in three classes with 30 Business Class, 64 Premium Economy Class and 216 Economy Class seats, for a total guest capacity of 310. Condor will receive approximately one new Airbus A330neo per month from fall 2022, which will successively replace the carrier’s current long-haul Boeing 767 fleet. For the winter 2022/23 season, the A330neo will first be deployed on routes to the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Seattle.
In Wednesday’s announcment, Condor’s Chief Executive Officer, Ralf Teckentrup, said,
“With the new cabin design, we are focusing on modern elegance and the colour-set creates a clear reference to our new brand identity. Our guests' holiday begins with boarding and continues with the distinctive Condor product and first-class service. With that, our well-established product is complemented by an unprecedented, coherent interior design, with the highest level of comfort, the most diverse and largest in-flight entertainment programme to date with an interface for your own Bluetooth headset, as well as high-speed internet connectivity for everyone on board.”
The new Business Class cabin is in a 1-2-1 configuration which offers direct aisle access for all guests. The 1.99 meter lie-flat seats convert to a bed and travelers will also enjoy ample legroom, as well as a 17.3-inch 4K inflight entertainment (IFE) touchscreen and a remote. Premium Economy guests will enjoy comfortable seats that offer a generous extra seat pitch of nearly 15 centimeters compared to Economy, a multi-adjustable headrest and a footrest. Both Premium Economy and Economy Class seats are arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration and feature 13.3-inch in-seat 4K touchscreen monitors.
Condor’s new Airbus A330neo will also offer high-speed broadband internet. Additionally, personal headphones can be connected to the IFE system via Bluetooth connectivity. The A330neo cabin has also been equipped with mood lighting which can be individually adjusted in each cabin to suit the time of day. Visually, the new modern and stylish cabin product impresses with a color palette that includes ‘Condor Marina’ and ‘Condor Earth’, as well as subtle stripes throughout to match the airline’s newly refreshed branding.
The cabin design was created by Kiel-based design agency Müller/Romca Industrial Design, in collaboration with Remco Masala, owner of the Visionalphabet Agency in Berlin, who designed Condor’s new brand identity. For a virtual tour of Condor’s new Airbus A330neo cabin interior please click here.
