Condor announced Wednesday that they will introduce a new Business Class service on their short and medium haul flights for the summer 2020 season. The airline will also expand its Economy Class fare range.
Yesterday, Condor announced that they will introduce an all-new Business Class product on short and long-haul flights starting summer 2020. Business Class guests will enjoy pre-flight lounge access, a free middle seat in the front rows of the aircraft, free drink and menu options, additional checked and carry-on baggage and other benefits. Additionally, the airline is expanding its range of Economy Class fares and options. Condor is adding a new “Economy Best” fare to complement their existing Economy and Economy Light offerings. Economy Best customers will enjoy additional checked and carry-on allowances along with free seat selection.
The new Business Class product replaces the existing “Premium Class” service unifying Condor’s product portfolio, while adding new benefits.
Condor’s Economy Class passengers will now have three options when booking their short and medium haul flights. In addition to Economy Classic and Economy Light, the airline is now introducing “Economy Best.” Customers who choose Economy Best will have a generous baggage allowance, a complimentary sandwich and beverage (water, coffee or tea) and will also receive the “Condor Priority Package.” The priority package includes priority check-in, early boarding and expedited baggage delivery upon landing. In Wednesday’s announcement, Condor’s Managing Director, Ralf Teckentrup said,
“With our Business Class and fare options in Economy Class, we offer the right product for every taste and every purse. We meet our customers’ desire for more individuality and offer them the opportunity to feel at ease on their flight to their holiday destination or back home according to their personal needs. Condor has stood for tradition and quality for 64 years now – we will continue to live up to this promise of quality through our service and our product.”
Customers on Condor’s long-haul flights will continue to enjoy the Business Class, Premium Class and Economy Class products they are familiar with. Long-haul Business Class guests can expect fully automatic reclining seats, an extensive IFE system with 15” screen and a three course gourmet menu. Premium Class customers receive seats with more legroom and pitch, complimentary beverages (alcohol & soft drinks) and a Premium Menu. In Economy Class, guests can expect a personal IFE screen, ergonomic seats, complimentary hot & cold meals and a generous selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Condor’s “Economy Light” fares are also available on long-haul flights for customers who prefer to travel with hand luggage only.
