On Thursday (January 4, 2024), Condor announced a further expansion of their inflight entertainment (IFE) program.  The carrier’s FlyStream entertainment portal is now available to all guests free of charge on short and medium-haul flights.  The portal is accessed by either scanning a QR code or by entering a link on your own personal electronic device.   FlyStream features a large selection of films, series, documentaries, music, games and eJournals, and also allows users to follow their own flight route live.

Condor also offers an extended entertainment program on long-haul routes.  Guests can purchase one of three internet packages for their mobile device via the FlyConnect portal when traveling on long-haul Airbus A330neo flights.  Condor is also investing in an open software platform to provide more exciting content on FlyConnect in the future, such as travel guides for many Condor destinations, games, and the Condor blog.  The first aircraft to feature the new technology is the Airbus A330neo with the registration D-ANRT, and all other A330neos will receive the new software update over the coming months.

The carrier also offers free downloadable ejournals on all flights.  Content includes everything from the latest news to inspiring travel reports, which is downloadable 48 hours prior to departure.  Business Class guests receive three free downloads, Premium Economy two, and Economy Class guests receive one free download.

Founded in 1956, Condor Flugdienst GmbH is Germany’s favorite leisure airline and serves over nine million guests annually to 90 destinations in Europe, Africa, and America from nine German gateways, Zurich and Vienna.  The German leisure carrier has a fleet of over 50 aircraft which are meticulously maintained to the highest safety standards by their wholly owned subsidiary Condor Technik with facilities in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.  Condor was the German launch customer for the state-of-the-art Airbus A330neo.
