Condor celebrated the launch of their inaugural flight between Frankfurt and San Antonio, Texas of Friday (May 17th), with the departure of their brand new A330neo, registration D-ANRO, at 14:43.
On Friday (May 17, 2024), Condor announced the launch of their inaugural flight between Frankfurt (FRA) and San Antonio (SAT), Texas in the U.S. The flight was operated with an Airbus A330neo, registration D-ANRO, which departed Frankfurt at 14:43, following a ribbon cutting ceremony by Condor’s CEO, Peter Gruber, and Fraport AG’s Executive Board Member – Aviation and infrastructure, Pierre Dominique Prümm. With the new route, Condor now operates the only direct connection between Europe and San Antonio. The Frankfurt-San Antonio route will now operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Condor’s inaugural flight to San Antonio was welcomed with an exclusive event attended by airport and regional representatives. San Antonio offers diverse culture, a colorful art and music scene, as well as an exceptional culinary experience. Additionally, the surrounding Texas Hill Country serves as an attractive destination for wine lovers, hikers, cyclists and more. Condor guests traveling on the carrier’s brand new state-of-the-art Airbus A330neo will enjoy the highest level of comfort onboard.
