On Thursday (June 6, 2023), Condor announced the signing of a new codeshare agreement with Emirates that  will commence in October 2024, subject to regulatory approvals.  With the new codeshare, Emirates’ guests will enjoy enhanced connectivity on Condor’s flights via Germany to popular destinations, including Mallorca, the Canary Islands, along with destinations in the Caribbean and the Americas.  As part of the agreement, Condor will add their DE marketing code to Emirates flights departing Dubai to a range of tourist hotspots, and other attractive destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent.  The codeshare activation will coincide with Condor’s October 2024 launch of new service between Berlin and Dubai.  The expanded commercial cooperation builds on a reciprocal interline partnership between Condor and Emirates which was established in November 2023.

In Thursday’s announcement, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said,

“We are delighted to further expand our existing partnership with Condor, Germany’s most popular leisure airline, to offer Condor customers more flight options and excellent connectivity to unique destinations in our network.  Passengers will also enjoy Emirates’ exceptional service and renowned on-board hospitality throughout their journey from Dubai. Emirates currently has commercial cooperation agreements with 161 interline, codeshare and intermodal partners, expanding our network to over 1,650 cities.”

Also commenting on the new codeshare partnership, Condor’s CEO, Peter Gerber, said,

“The partnership with Emirates, one of the world's leading airlines, is an important strategic milestone for Condor and our customers.  We are delighted to be able to offer seamless and even better connectivity by intensifying our existing interline partnership into a codeshare.  Our guests will enjoy a far greater choice of flights to even more destinations with the comfort they are used to and benefit from the best of both airlines on all flights.”

Emirates’ Vice President – North & Central Europe, Volker Greiner, added,

“The new codeshare agreement with Condor underlines our strategy of creating significant added value for our customers through strong partnerships.  For example, with the launch of Condor's daily flight between Berlin and Dubai from October, we will be offering a daily codeshare between the German capital and our hub.  In addition, our more than 1.4 million Skywards members in Germany can earn Emirates miles on Condor flights and book Condor flights with Skywards miles.”
