Starting July 29th, Condor will offer two weekly flights between Frankfurt and Faro on Fridays and Saturdays, while service to Alicante will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays from July 31, 2022.
On Thursday (April 21, 2022), Condor announced the addition of two popular destinations to their summer 2022 schedule including service to Faro in Portugal’s Algarve region, as well as Alicante on Spain’s Costa Blanca. Service between Frankfurt and Faro will be offered twice weekly on Fridays and Saturdays starting July 29th, while flights to Alicante will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays from July 31, 2022. Both routes will be serviced with an Airbus A320, and flights are now available for booking on the carrier’s website, as well as through German tour operators and travel agencies.
Faro often serves as a starting point for travelers who wish to explore the Algarve region of Portugal, which is known for fine sandy beaches and impressive rock formations. With an authentic old town, the famous Praia de Faro beach, and proximity to the Ria Formosa nature park, makes Faro a popular destination on its own.
The port city of Alicante on the Costa Blanca in Spain delights holidaymakers with the lively old town of Barrio de la Santa Cruz, where narrow streets lined with colorful houses lead to the medieval castle Castillo de Santa Bárbara. Located on a hill, the fortress offers inspiring panoramic views of the Mediterranean coast. Alicante also offers an exciting and vibrant nightlife, as well as some of the country’s most beautiful beaches.
