China Airlines to Offer Free Onboard Internet Access

Taiwan-based China Airlines will begin providing travelers in all cabins with free internet access or messaging service on all routes flown by Boeing 777s, Airbus A350s and A321neos starting August 1, 2025.

On Wednesday (July 9, 2025), China Airlines, a Taiwan-based carrier, announced the rollout of free onboard internet access or messaging service starting August 1, 2025. Customers in all cabin classes aboard the carrier’s Boeing 777, Airbus A350 and A320neo aircraft will be able to enjoy access to this new service. This makes China Airlines the first Taiwanese carrier to offer free onboard internet for all passengers. Premium Business Class and Premium Economy Class customers will enjoy unlimited web browsing, while Economy Class travelers will be able to send text messages for free through communication apps. Dynasty Flyer Paragon, Emerald, and Gold members will all enjoy unlimited web browsing regardless of cabin class.
