Japan Airlines has announced that in celebration of Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th Anniversary, they will be introducing a specially-themed aircraft featuring Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends. The ‘JAL Jubilee Express’ will begin domestic flights from June 4, 2026.

On Thursday (April 16, 2026), Japan Airlines (JAL) announced the launch of a specially-themed Boeing 737-800 (registration JA339J) to mark the 25th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea. The ‘JAL Jubilee Express’ will feature Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends, and will take to the skies on domestic routes starting June 4, 2026. JAL has been an official Disney sponsor since the grand opening of Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. The two companies first collaborated on a special aircraft livery in 2001, the year Tokyo DisneySea opened, and this aircraft marks the seventh partnership to date.
The JAL Jubilee Express features ‘Jubilee Blue,’ the theme color of the Tokyo DisneySea 25th Sparkling Jubilee anniversary event, as its base. It will also be decorated with Mickey Mouse and other Disney friends dressed in special outfits, along with DisneySea AquaSphere, the symbol of Tokyo DisneySea, and Mount Prometheus. This special design extends to inflight items such as headrest covers and paper cups. JAL guests will be able to enjoy a wonderful journey through the skies aboard the ‘JAL Jubilee Express,’ immersed in the festive spirit of this 25th anniversary.
